About Aplicor |
|
Aplicor
Enterprise is an impressive and solid product, however,
the company does not have the name brand recognition of
its primary competitors of Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP
and NetSuite.
Things we
like about Aplicor:
-
Excellent ease of use (we especially like the
one-click-to-anywhere capabilities)
-
Very strong product for midmarket, enterprise and
global organizations
-
The integration and customization tools are
outstanding
- We
like their use of isolated tenancy (and wish more
hosting vendors would do this)
- We
like their hosting uptime visibility web page
-
We enjoyed visiting their user
group web sites -
www.aplicorforum.org
and
www.aplicor.org
Things
we don't like about Aplicor:
-
The product does not work well for small business
-
The company doesn't seem to do much to get their
name more widely known
-
The company only has one user group conference per
year and not all users attend
-
Aplicor's ERP suite offers weak manufacturing
capabilities
-
While the software is offered in either hosted or
on-premise options, the high majority of Aplicor's
customers are clearly hosted
